The Money Game details how name, image, and likeness (NIL) have changed the world of college athletics. By combining a striking script typeface with a clean serif, the design alludes to sports while hinting at Financial aspects. Additionally, images of athletes that directly contribute to NIL were used to represent their personal name, image, and likeness as it works in the real world.
Breaking up the graphic with subtle dividers and charts helped create a dynamic eye flow while sectioning off areas. History was provided to create a backdrop, comparisons of universities helped set a competitive groundwork, and a section detailing the gap in female and male compensation added modern commentary. The infographic concludes with quotes from Advocates and leaders in the NIL industry in the shape of tweets to represent how social media plays into the world of NIL.
